A quick thought

"Waiting intensifies pain because it foraces us to see that we are dependent creatures." Cry of the Soul, Allender & Longman. Recently during a time in Coeur D'Alene I had the chance to spend some time reading and listening to the Lord. As I was reading from Cry of the Soul this quote struck me. It is amazing how we so desire to control our lives and are so fearful of complete surrender. Yet as I looked out at the immense beauty that was created with just a word I wonder why I would hesitate to give up all and just rest in God's presence.
